Halloween came and went and I managed to escape to the Algarve for a week! I loved it and would recommend it to any of you who haven't been. It is beautiful and a super place to relax and de-stress.

Its a crazy busy time for me, I'm working on a large card range. Its all rather exciting and something I haven't really done before.

We had a very exciting evening last night. Eene finally had her babies! She was great and I was certainly amazed to see the birthing process! Nature has a funny way of putting everything in its place! I think I was more worried than she was!
We were delighted to see the little grey one...... it is gonna be so hard to give any of these beauties away!

This is Eene.
Eene turned up on my door step about 3 weeks ago. She was so skinny and full of worms and flees. I wish she could tell me where she has come from. With no collar and no posters up in the area she is one little lost cat. She has been here ever since.
We have become firm friends, she loves having cuddles and eats loads!.

I took her to the vet on Monday to see if she had been chipped, the vet informed me there was no chip, and that Eene is expecting a litter of kittens. I was so surprised, I hadn't even thought about kittens. I wanted to know if she was ok, how old she was etc but "Kittens" ha ha!

I will keep you posted.... I do hope she makes it to full term. The vet said she may miss carry but I'm gonna take good care of her so hopefully she wont. She is just as she is in the photo's above only her belly is really fat and round!! ;-)

I actually sat with the patio doors open yesterday for a tea break in the sun. I cant wait for the summer. I have a new little garden that I'm gonna fill with lots of lovely flowers.

I've been look through all my old work.... these 2 were created back in 2007.... they did pretty well and found themselves homes in the US for wrap, bag and cards. They are nearly free of their contract and will be able to go back in the portfolio for re-sale soon...... :)

I like to do a bit of everything.... we have lots of customers and they all have different requirements so doing a bit of everything will in theory increase my chances of selling. My agent is off to the states again next week so I'm busy creating some new traditional Christmas for him to take. Poinsettias and Holly is today's challenge.

A few woodland friends to keep my blue Owl company....... Keeping me company today is "Timmy" the neighbors cat. I never thought I would encourage a cat that belongs to someone else to come round, but I don't feed him (only some dry biscuits now and again). He just comes in for cuddles and a sleep. He would visit the people who owned the house before me..... how can I not let him in? I like it when Timmy comes to visit!

This week I am trying to break some old habits. On a normal day I would develop line work for designs in "Illustrator" and export the layers into photoshop where I add pattern and texture. This week I'm making myself stick to illustrator. Here is a peek at how I'm getting on. I'm drawing over the top of my sketch and hoping that by building layers and shapes of colour I will get a bit of a different look to my work...... Its going ok so far!

Moe remembers me!!!

Its been a while since I blogged about "Moe" my cat! He has been happily living in my old house in the hope that I would find us both a new home! Anyhow its been a long time since we've seen each other..... I was worried he would have forgotten all about the crazy lady who loved him to bits and let him bite her paint brushes. I went to see him last night and he does know who I am. This makes me very happy indeed!!

A trip to London Town

My very first real TREE!

Its my first day back designing after the Christmas break. I hope you all had a good rest!
I thought I would share a few festive snaps with you. It was my first Christmas in my new little house! I just loved decorating my first real tree.
Lully (top right) spent lots of time sleeping while we popped to London to catch a show.... we saw Blood Brothers for the second year running.

Remember the "Bunnies?" I bought these 2 adorable little rucksacks last year when I visited my sister in Korea. They were for my 2 favorite little people Harley and Darci.

Harley just loved his..... but its broken..... sad times!!
We tried to explain to Harley that it came from very far away, not sure he really understood being only 3! So my big sis has been bunny shopping and has sent a new one, I just cant wait to see his little face! HURRY up bunny!!!!

Its that time of year again...... Pop-up time!! Usually I get a little stressed with doing these but this year so far its going well. I'm actually enjoying it! This butterfly design is my favorite!! It fits nicely with this sunny weather!! Lets hope it works when I cut it out!

I ended up having a day out in "Chester" this week. The weather was not kind, it rained lots! Despite the rain I had a lovely day exploring the pretty roman streets..... Popped into Paperchase for a few inspirational snaps...... I think I could spend hours in there!! Beautiful!!! As was Chester..... If you haven't been I would recommend it!!!

I'm Late in posting this so "sorry".........last Sunday I was invited along to a small gathering in London organized to help raise money for Roger Bilsland who tomorrow will be running the London Marathon! "Lully" is waiting patiently for her owner to return from America, there are many people stuck stateside unable to fly home because the volcanic ash that is sitting over the Uk right now..... I'm guessing Lully might have a long wait!.... Lets hope the wind blows it away soon!

I've just about finished the baby set I've been working on, so its onto something new! I'm gonna work on a new "Girly" set...... every girl loves shoes and handbags and all things pretty..... I did the ones above a while ago now so its time to create some new ones! I'm excited!

I've been moving this weekend, so since Friday all I have done is lift and pack and un-pack boxes, thank goodness the sun has been shinning! Its surprising how much stuff one little person can collect! So it was nice to get up this morning, sit at my desk and crack on with more baby designs, here is a peep at the wrap I'm working on today!
