Progress....

Yesterdays floral is nearly finished.... now for some butterflies!!

Old habits....

This week I am trying to break some old habits. On a normal day I would develop line work for designs in "Illustrator" and export the layers into photoshop where I add pattern and texture. This week I'm making myself stick to illustrator. Here is a peek at how I'm getting on. I'm drawing over the top of my sketch and hoping that by building layers and shapes of colour I will get a bit of a different look to my work...... Its going ok so far!

its Friday!

So happy its Friday......
I've been sorting out all my admin this week and I hate it! I've also been sorting though loads of old work.... here is a "Birthday" design I did a while back. Its being sold in the US on gift-bags and wrap.

I hope you all have a good weekend planned, I'm off out for Italian food and lots of girlie chat!

Spring Fair 2011

What a crazy few weeks. I've been working like mad since Christmas. The Spring Fair kicks off this weekend in Birmingham! Above are a few snaps of what I've been working on.
Lets hope its a good show for all those exhibiting. My work will be on the "Inspire By Design" booth, you can find us in Hall 3, Stand F40.

Moe remembers me!!!

Its been a while since I blogged about "Moe" my cat! He has been happily living in my old house in the hope that I would find us both a new home! Anyhow its been a long time since we've seen each other..... I was worried he would have forgotten all about the crazy lady who loved him to bits and let him bite her paint brushes. I went to see him last night and he does know who I am. This makes me very happy indeed!!

CHA in LA

For the last few weeks I've been working for the CHA show in LA..... its a new one for us so we are crossing fingers and toes that our work is well received! www.craftandhobby.org

Its the weekend.... HOORAY!! So I'm off to do a few normal things.....(relax, haircut, red wine..... hoovering haaaha) before I start thinking about the "Spring Fair" eeeeeeeeeek. Its gonna be another busy couple of weeks!!

Birthday wishes.....

Busy, busy, busy! I've been working hard.
Here is a peek at some new generic "Birthday" designs that I've been working on. Trying to make it appeal to both boys and girls is a little difficult! Lots of cake, candles and balloons..... just what every birthday celebration needs!

Scrapbooking......

Its been a busy start to the new year. I'm re-working lots of designs into sets for a forth coming Scrap-booking show that my agent is going to attend! I do hope its worth all the effort.

Today I'm thinking all things "Birthday"...... starting with drawing a big fat CAKE!

A trip to London Town

My very first real TREE!


Its my first day back designing after the Christmas break. I hope you all had a good rest!
I thought I would share a few festive snaps with you. It was my first Christmas in my new little house! I just loved decorating my first real tree.
Lully (top right) spent lots of time sleeping while we popped to London to catch a show.... we saw Blood Brothers for the second year running.

Wishing for a Christmas Baby....

No more snow!

Its stopped snowing in the UK! I can feel my toes! More cold weather heading our way next week! I created this little snowman a few weeks back now.... he has already found a home in the US, he will make a nice Christmas card!

I'm going to attempt to get festive this weekend and purchase my very first real "Christmas tree"
I'm excited!! Have a good weekend ;-)
