Stockings......

Sometimes my job seems a little odd! Christmas in August, although this August is more than a little wet! Where is the sunshine?

This is another set I've been working on...... vintage stockings!! I like it!!

How I do like to be by the sea!

I mentioned a couple of weeks back I was off to Brighton for a mini break...... it seems so long ago now, 3 days just wasn't long enough. I went with my big sis who was home from Korea for 3 weeks.... we had a lovely time! ;) It was a little bit windy though!!!!

A busy few weeks!

I've had my paint brushes out again..... painting just as fast as I can..... lots of watery traditional Christmas designs. They will be off to America today to be shown to some of our US card customers.... fingers crossed!

Finished!!

I've been cutting and sticking again....... here is a peep at some of my card mock-ups! I'm happy that they are finally finished! Hooray! Now for a few days away at the seaside!! ;)

Ahoy Ye Matey its the "Weekend"

What a week!! Its been a busy one! (I've been looking for somewhere to live) I had a go at my very first pirate design! I think it will make a great card or giftbag. So between popping out to look at houses I've been creating these guys and working on some more traditional Christmas! I'm looking forward to a rest this weekend, starting with a nice Italian meal with the girls tonight!! :)

Today I've been working on some new Baby Designs...... there seems to be a lot of babies on the horizon at the mo.... I hope this baby Ark makes it onto some cards or gifbags to help celebrate!

Something different!

Another design I've been working on....... possibly for wedding. I think it needs a nice paisley wrap to go with it!! A little different to the penguin pop-up!! Nice to have a bit of a mixture!

Owls and Penguins.....

I've been busy working on a few different designs over the last week...... Pop-up Penguins that did nothing but give me a head ache and make me a little cross.... but I got there in the end!! Phew!!!

I was a little worried that these 3-fold cards wouldn't work and would need amending but they work just fine...... which makes me happy!!! Now for something a little more complicated..... eek!

Baby.....

I'm resisting finishing early to go sit in the garden...... Its just so sunny and warm outside, lets hope we have a super sunny weekend ;)

2 hot to pop!

Its that time of year again...... Pop-up time!! Usually I get a little stressed with doing these but this year so far its going well. I'm actually enjoying it! This butterfly design is my favorite!! It fits nicely with this sunny weather!! Lets hope it works when I cut it out!

Its back on with some Christmas designs again this week. I'm trying to make this design look like its cut out..... not sure if I've achieved it yet. I love the style of Rob Ryan. THE WORLD CUP BEGINS.....

I couldn't let today pass without mentioning the footie!! I have "World cup Fever" or a small dose of it anyhow!!! I will be supporting England, lets hope our boys do us proud!

Chester you say.....

I ended up having a day out in "Chester" this week. The weather was not kind, it rained lots! Despite the rain I had a lovely day exploring the pretty roman streets..... Popped into Paperchase for a few inspirational snaps...... I think I could spend hours in there!! Beautiful!!! As was Chester..... If you haven't been I would recommend it!!!

Something new!

I'm having a go at doing some sets of everyday cards....... I've got loads of ideas.... I'm trying to mix hand drawn elements with a more graphic style. Its nice to be working on lots of things at the same time, cant wait to print them off to see if they work!
