......its cold outside!

Its freezing..... lucky for me I'm sat all cosy next to the Christmas tree watching the snow falling outside. It looks like we could have quite a few inches by tomorrow morning...... I do hope we have a white Christmas. This snowy scene was taken back in feb when we had the most snow I think I have ever seen, it certainly made for a fun few snowy days off work!

Its perfect weather for "Snowmen"

I finally started my Christmas Shopping this weekend...... I am very behind, thank goodness for the Internet, I am hoping this will take some of the stress away!
The above presents design is number 3 in my latest set..... I think number 4 is gonna be a patchwork and should finish this set off nicely!

I had to part with the bunnies!

I finally had to part with the bunny bags I bought in Korea..... I packed them full of stickers, pens and pencils and a few other little goodies...... Harley (age 3) and Darcie (age 6) loved them! Happy Days!

Christmas Cookies.....

Anyone want a cookie....?
Here is a peek at my latest set of designs...... its been a little difficult to get motivated after my trip to Korea, most of last week was spent trying to stay awake, the jet lag was terrible!
Anyway I am back into the swing of things now and am hoping for a productive couple of weeks. Fingers crossed!

Shoppppppping.....

How cute is this little Panda eating noodles...... I love him I do!

Cats and bunnies......

Cats....... I thought these were cool! A little weird. You don't see many cats in Korea, although I did see a man carrying his cat in town yesterday!

Today was all about shopping. I saw some great designs, I couldn't take photo's in all the shops....... I loved the bedding and soft furnishings, it was really exciting to see! Bright colours and bold print...... cant wait to get designing once I'm home! I saw quite a few cards, some great notebooks and stationary products, so inspiring!

I bought this bunny for my god daughter.... so cute! She will love it! I hope!

Out and About in Seoul....

Gung Bok Gyung is a beautiful Korean Palace, full of history and set against the mountains it really was something to see.
We walked past this little resaurant where customers had hung love hearts and messages to each other..... I couldnt resist a picture!

Cats, Cats and more cats!!

Cafe latte .....

A cute little coffee shop in Samchungdong

Korea!!!! Hooray!!

So many new and exciting things to try!

The Pork is placed over hot coals in the center of the table so you can cook for yourself

Sesame leaf...... you place a piece of pork with bean paste, salad, garlic, then wrap it up and pop it in your mouth in one! Lovely!

After a very long flight with very little sleep I finally arrived in South Korea. I was met at the Airport by my sister and her friend who then drove us to Bucheon where my sister lives in a little flat! It is amazing here, so different from the UK. So many interesting and beautiful things to look at. I thought I would share a few snaps of my first Korean meal...... so tasty...... BBQ Bulgogi Pork, sesame leaf, rice cakes in ginger, onion salad in soy and many other dishes!

"My Milk Toof"

You simply must go and have a look at this blog..... I love it I do! Such a clever Idea! http://mymilktoof.blogspot.com

The Story

When I was young, I placed my baby teeth under my pillow and when i woke up I'd find a shiny new quarter. But whatever happened to those little teeth? Where did they go? Would I ever see them again?

Many years later, a little tooth was standing at my door. It looked familiar. Its name was ickle. Welcome home, my milk toof!

More Crackers....

Crackers, Crackers and more crackers!

I actually had some time this weekend to nip into town to see all the lovely Christmas ranges that have appeared in the shops....... I saw some great stuff, I even spotted some of my Crackers in BHS! Its certainly a nice surprise when you happen to see some of your design work on actual products!
I have been neglecting my blog a little over the past week as I have been trying to sort out my accounts...... Its sooo boring! But necessary! I cant wait for the end of the week though as I'm off to Korea..... I am just so excited!!!!

Time to remember....

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month a day to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and of civilians in times of war...... I actually cried when I saw the news today. A little girl was saying how much she missed her daddy...... it gives us all some perspective and should make us realise whats really important in life!

More dolls....

More dolls...... I just love them I do! The one at the top is my favorite! Moe however frequently sends them flying..... silly fat cat! :)

Yet another trip.....

Its been a week full of designing, printing and mounting....... My agent is off to the US to sell sell sell..... at least thats the plan! I've got all my fingers and toes crossed for some sales. Most of what I've done for this trip is "Christmas" with a real American feel! Its certainly a relief to get it all done..... I'm looking forward to having some time out. I'm off on a little adventure in a couple of weeks and I just cant wait!!!! Korea here I come!
